Rainy days and silver linings

A few months back  I was quite ill. I was suffering from malnutrition of all things. Which foodie suffers from that?!!! I have since decided it was a heavenly conspiracy to stop me enjoying junk food. So, yeah, situation was such that all my muscles were cramped up because of vitamin b,c,d deficiency. I couldn't walk properly. On one of those dark days I had to go for an exam.It was quite a nice day. Perfect temperature. In Delhi that is manna from heaven. So while returning back from exam  I had to walk for 1.5km. I could have taken an auto but being a miser + short distance+ perfect weather+ need of vitamin d prompted me to walk however painfully.
I had walked just about 200ms when it started raining cats and dogs out of nowhere. Now i was drenched and in pain. No autos in sight. So the soldier marched on.
Swatch Bharat abhiyan(clean india mission) is there for a reason. People, however, do not seem to know that. hello wet pavement+ thermacol meet my foot. I fell in slow motion, hitting my head on side wall. Bruised one side of face and other side of forehead, one knee and other elbow.
So here i was lying on the pavement and couldn't get up (remember muscle cramps). One guy passes by looking at me. I being in a haze of sort was thinking chivalry is dead when two others help me get up and offer their handkerchieves. Belief restored.
in the meantime 2 girls come up to me, curse the guy who passed me by and offer to take me back home. Just wow! who does that. My home was 30 kms away. 2 strangers offered to travel 60kms for me.In the end they got me a cab back home. That's just incredible. I am just in awe of them. They are an inspiration.
