There are few things and people in life for whom one can give his/her life. in my case it is boooooks, fooooood, sleeeeeep, my parents. Not necessarily in this order. So, in my first post I want to talk about things i love ( loving your parents ... how do you describe that in words? There is nothing i would not do for them.)
Well talking about books, the first book i read was Jane Eyre when i was 11. And since then my addiction continues. And it is not an exaggeration when i call it an addiction. Reading books ... generally people consider it a good hobby but for me it has been a sickness. i gave my board exam while reading Twilight of all things. I am not reading something which is opening up my horizon, broadening my mind or anything. I am reading Mills and boons and harlequin. All one can learn from them is........umm kind of nothing.
It is not as if i don't know that reading so much of senseless books is rotting my mind, I have tried going cold turkey. It hasn't worked.
However, I do read one good book for every 100 non sensical ones so that is some relief I think. I am surviving as a working alcoholic for now.
Fooood...who doesn't love it? If there are those who do not, please do not tell me. I have no wish to know those aliens. I have loved food as far back as i can remember. As i think about it i think i love food more than my friends. there are some of them whom i meet just because they have awesome taste in food. Or maybe that is my growing doubt about those particular friends.Who knows? So where was I? Yeah i love eating. That was a thing of days gone by. nowadays i love to cook too. i am not much of a chef until now but who knows one day I might graduate to it.
Now sleeeeep.... well by now you might have learnt I am a lazy persozzzzzzzzzzz
